DEATH....... IT'S QUEST

Religions talk about heaven and hell. There is a concept of reincarnation also; people of some religions believe in rebirth. Religions talk about the distinctive  concepts of body, soul and spirit. Good character as per the prescriptions of religions is considered by many as essential for this life and many religions believe this is the surest way to reach heaven and in many cases this is a guarantee for rebirth in a wealthy and capable family . In a particular case God takes birth as human avatar in rich wealthy royal  families alone and in this human avatar God doesn't die natural death rather He takes some form of self renunciation of human body. In some other particular stories godly people on the earth took journey to heaven with their human body. In religions beginning and end of God are beyond time and space.

      All these are never seen by any believer but believer believes such things beyond any doubt. The underlining essence  of all such faith in religious descriptions is immortality. All these principles have been written by human beings of flesh, bones and blood although everywhere in religions it is claimed that these are real and this reality was exposed to some super beings which are considered holy and so any doubt or query about the faith  is forbidden and in many cases such doubts are dealt with blasphemy laws which may attract death penalty. 

       But the fact remains that the central concept of  all religions is immortality. This indicates that throughout their hundreds of millions of existence human beings have not compromised and convinced by the phenomenon of death. Although everyone dies without any exception human beings continue to believe in immortality and in order  to counter this unavoidable reality human beings have gave themselves some  theories of immortality as some consolation to life. These theories are both good and bad at the same time for human beings. 

            These theories are  bad as this  based on false and unproven assertions, signalling that human beings despite their hundreds of millions of existence still treat death as something dystopian reality. But good is that this quest of immortality has incentivises human beings to work for search of immortality in some real and concrete sense. As science has dealt with many concepts of religions and has either approved or disapproved them objectively with the help of some empirical proofs , it is now dealing with death with the help of some  scientific tools with an objective of defeating death  decisively.. If it happens and science by some tools provide the ways to immortality existence of religion and religiosity will lose their significance although it is another question that death of religion and religiousity is good or bad human beings.
