TIME IS A PROCESS

      TIME IS A PROCESS

Time is neither an abstract unit nor a detail of chronology. Rather, time is a tangible process that explains movement. That is why past, present, and future are things to be understood continuously from varying perspectives. Time must also be comprehended in terms of change. The moments of time that appear static and boring on the surface are actually moving all the time. Therefore, time is a process. The understanding of any moment in human history cannot be defined in static and monolithic terms. Every moment, both past and future, must be read in reference to the process of time, not to a static point in time.
