PERMANENT HISTORY OF IMPERMANENT HISTORIES
PERMANENT HISTORY OF IMPERMANENT HISTORIES
History is the journey of impermanence. So each and every success and failure in the course of history is a trivial step towards the vastness of history. So we should never think that we are doing something unique. The only important thing is how much we contribute to this journey of impermanence to make it more smooth and more productive.
History of human civilizations tells us that many civilizations rose and fell. And in every era, human civilizations moved ahead. Of course, there were large scales of destruction between every rise and fall. In that period of destruction, human beings achieved remarkable feats. Every historical era is an entire story of civilizational transformation from one form to the other; every rise and fall is a full cycle of creation and dissolution, but every cycle is just a few steps towards the path of endless journey. Interestingly, in every era, human beings were convinced that they were the best, most advanced, and that their system of knowledge and prosperity was maximum, but then every era met its end just like the earlier one. Thus, every end was the beginning of a new end. Every alleged permanency ended in impermanence. And these small impermanent ages had made their contributions to permanent impermanence. And this cycle is still in its swing.
The underlying reality of every impermanence is that every end could usher a new beginning only because of contributions in the field of knowledge by the people of the outgoing age. Whenever knowledge suffered at the hands of violence and barbarism-physical or intellectual-that age approached its end, highlighting the permanence of impermanence.
